Sure Xiaomi couldn't be the first to launch a device with Snapdragon 845 as Samsung launched the S9,but they first announced the Mi7. However Xiaomi postponed its launch for the Xiaomi MI Mix 2S.

The Tidbits About Xiaomi MI Mix 2

About a month ago XDA Developers revealed about the some of the Specs about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. It Features

•  An 18:9 2160x1080 Display.
• A 3400 mAh Battery.
• Android 8.0 Oreo
• Dual Sim Support
• IR Blaster[Xiaomi has it on almost all of their phones]

On the firmware extracted by XDA the Phone was still using the code name "Polaris".

After a brief time of Google's Project Tango, AR Core is here bringing Augmented Reality for almost every device. Recently it was announced by Google that AR Core 1.0 would be bringing Augmented Reality to devices such as LG V30/V30+ ,Samsung S9/S9+ ,The Oneplus 5/5t and Zenfone AR. It also announced it's partnerships with various companies that will have AR Core out of the box. Xiaomi was one of them. The following code proves that Mi Mix 2S will be one of them having AR.

There is no doubt that Xiaomi will have Dual Camera setup and that too AI dual cameras due the leaked picture

The Image evidently says "AI DUAL CAMERA" which means it will definitely have some sort of AI features for its camera.

Front Camera Position And Design

Various teasers are available about the Mi Mix 2S over the Internet. The Most controversial point about the phone is the design of the phone. The following is the most famous design for this smartphone.

The feature that gained most of its interest is of course the notch at the top right corner appearing to be housing the front camera. Notches are getting a lot of popularity these days thanks to Essential phone and Iphone X.

However the fact that the phone will have a notched display is feeling like a hoax as in the MIUI camera in the new firmware file obtained by XDA Developers it suggests that it is going to have the front facing camera at the bottom of the smartphone just as in its predecessors Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2. Wireless Charging

Rumours are present for rendering the MI 7 as the first Xiaomi device to have wireless charging.But the Developers at XDA Developers said that they found no code in the firmware of the having this feature.However they found the evidence proving Xiaomi MI Mix 2S to have wireless charging functionality which they found in the MIUIKeyguard.apk.
