First 5G Devices May Launch in 2019 From Manufacturers Including Xiaomi,Oppo &Vivo

Qualcomm is Working with many OEMs to launch the first 5G devices

However Apple,Samsung and Huawei are not in the list.

Some days back Qualcomm Technologies,one of the leading mobile chipset manufacturer, announced the first 5G modem of the company which is the Snapdragon x50 5G



After the announcement many OEMs have already started working to release the first 5G device. These OEMs include the following:

  • Xiaomi
  • Sony
  • Oppo
  • Vivo
  • Htc
  • ZTE
  • Sharp
  • Asus
  • Fujitsu

Others

  • NetComm Wireless
  • Sierra Wireless
  • Telit
  • Wingtech
  • WNC
  • Inseego/Novatel Wireless


However The Leading manufacturers such as Apple,Samsung and Huawei do not come under this list. Huawei uses its own processor so it may not be expected to use Snapdragon X50 .Apple & Samsung which do have many devices with Snapdragon processor are unexpected not to use this processor.
